06 / Completion
Earn a Certificate of Completion.
This recognises completed learning and a quality project. It is not an “AI expert” or engineering qualification.
To qualify, you must
- Complete at least six of the seven required activities
- Submit the final project
- Complete the baseline and final assessments
- Meet the project-quality threshold
- Avoid plagiarism, fabrication and serious privacy violations
Attending sessions alone does not guarantee a certificate.
07 / Optional bonus
Explore Google Cloud with guidance.
Eligible new users will receive guided support to check their eligibility for Google Cloud’s $300 welcome credit and safely configure Firebase or supported Google Cloud services.
Eligibility is determined by Google. A valid payment method may be required for verification. The credit is not issued or guaranteed by Pwavwe AI Academy and is not required to complete the programme.

Meet Francis Pwavwe.
Francis is a Ghana-based multidisciplinary digital product builder and Tourism Management graduate of the University of Cape Coast. He builds websites, platforms and AI-assisted tools for education, tourism and growing organisations, and translates technology into understandable, practical applications.

Is the programme really free?
Yes. The seven-day founding cohort is free. The optional Google Cloud offer is separate and is not required.
Do I need coding experience?
No. The programme is designed for beginners and practical, non-technical learners.
Does joining WhatsApp guarantee admission?
No. You must complete the application form to be considered. Joining the community alone does not qualify you for training.
How are applicants selected?
Applications are reviewed for audience fit, motivation, a useful problem to work on and the ability to take part. There are 12–15 founding places.
What must I do to receive the certificate?
Complete at least six of seven required activities, submit a quality final project, complete both assessments and meet the integrity requirements above.
What kind of project can I build?
Choose a real problem in study, work, business, creativity, tourism, community impact or personal productivity. Show your process, a completed output and one peer or user test.
Is the Google Cloud credit guaranteed?
No. Google determines eligibility, may require a valid payment method for verification and issues any credit directly. You do not need it for the programme.
Can I participate using only a smartphone?
Yes, although a laptop can make research, documentation and project work easier. You will need reliable internet access for live sessions and activities.
What happens after the seven-day programme?
You can use your project and prompt library independently. Qualifying learners may apply for the four-week Pwavwe AI Builder Lab; participation in Foundations does not guarantee a place.
Will the live sessions be recorded?
Yes. Recordings will be available to learners for 30 days.
